In 2020 Breckenridge Geophysical partnered with Schlumberger/WesternGeco and completed the acquisition of two wide azimuth (WAZ) surveys across the Permian Basin.

Sandhill 3d

The 540 square mile Sandhill 3D WAZ Survey covers Winkler, Ward, Crane, and Pecos Counties. It images the complex transition between the Delaware Basin and the Central Basin Platform and could provide a unique solution to your exploration and development needs.

McKenzie Draw 3D

The 412-square-mile McKenzie Draw 3D WAZ Survey covers Martin, Andrews, Dawson, and Gaines Counties. Located in the northern Midland Basin, the McKenzie Draw survey illuminates drilling hazards such as shallow karsting and the thickness of carbonate beds at target depth. If left unidentified these hazards can have a significant impact on a drilling program’s economics.
